Discover Aviation Now!!!
I am the Founder and Executive Director of Discover Aviation Now a Nonprofit in the state of Virginia. Starting a Nonprofit organization has given me the opportunity to give back to the community by introducing youth of all backgrounds to the world of aviation. I remember what it was like to be in middle school and high school wanting to learn how to fly, and not having a way of doing that until later on in life. There were not any affordable or convenient options for me at the time.
Through Aviation S.T.E.M based activities provided by my nonprofit, I will be able to encourage students to think about careers in aviation. I will raise money to offer them scholarships, grants, and internships. This will make it easier for students to pay for Aviation related training or College tuition. Becoming a part of the solution is the greatest decision I have ever made, it feels great to help out and give back.
